Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - Sketch & use wet or dry Embossing

Hello and Welcome to Lovescrappin with Tina Parsons.

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global December 2024 blog hop. Thank you so much for joining us. This month our challenge is from Sharon Dalton, to create a layout using a sketch and dry or wet Embossing. Can't wait to see what everyone does with this one. Sharon is on a well deserved holiday, I am sure she is having a great time and will be following along.

Here is my layout, using the above sketch and embossing folders.

I used 4 embossing folders and punched circles from them.
I used circle punches as most people own circle punches but you can also use circle dies.
The Spotlight on Nature dies would be perfect for this sketch too.

Emboss and punch circles

These are the sizes I used, I punched some templates out to see what I needed.

I like to do a dry run to see how it will look.

Close up of the embossed circles.

I used the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and  one of the new Stamp sets from the upcoming Mini, Documenting The Day.
I inked the word DAY and KISSED (stamped) it onto the embossing folder, then
stamped it onto white cardstock to give it some texture.

Here is a close up look, and I used Stampin' Dimensionals to raise the word Day after I fussy cut it out.

I finished off by drawing dots around the circles for added interest and the 6x6 papers are from the Full of Life, its a great pack of paper full of bright colours and fun for all your scrapbooking layouts. I finished off embellishing with the new upcoming mini product called Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix (sequins)

Next up is Julia Quinn, take a look to see what she has done with the sketch and embossing.

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - TIC TAC TOE

Hello and Welcome to Lovescrappin with Tina Parsons.

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global November 2024 blog hop. You may have just come from MazWood blog

This month we are playing along with Sherry Roth, she has chosen a TIC TAC TOE board. Choose a row of three to complete your layout. Follow the hop to see what everyone has done and we would love it if you left us a comment below.

My Layout uses Twine, Tags & it's a 2 page layout.

I love the fun colour of this Full of Life paper, I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies and the Mini Alphabet Dies. I did CASE this layout but unfortunately I can't find who I cased it from. So if you see this please leave me a comment and thank you for your inspiration.

I stamped the spoon from the Latte Love stamp set onto the paper and die cut it out and I used ink to make a two tone word (ADVO). The tag came from the new Online Exclusives Greetings of the Season dies.

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - Scraplift your favourite layout

Hello and Welcome to Lovescrappin with Tina Parsons.

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global October 2024 blog hop. You may have just come from Melva Peters blog. Thank you so much for joining us. This month  I have the privilege of choosing the theme and I love to Scraplift pages, so I choose to Scraplift a favourite layout. I found one in the Scrapbooking Global Facebook group.  I don't always have the time to come up with my own designs and there are so many talented people out there. So let's take a look.

Back in August I saw a beautiful layout done by Pamela Bohn in our Facebook group, and I knew I had to scraplift it. I did a double page and used papers in my stash to make the 2nd layout.  See Pamela's layout at the bottom of this post.

I used 6x6 papers and the new Ephemera packs, I love the flowers and the titles that come in the packs. There are 3 different ones to choose from in the annual catalogue. I love how I can match the flower colours to the paper.

I found paper in my stash from older collection to match the flower colours I had left.

This is Pamela's layout, I love how she did the sewing on her layout. I choose not to do this and I used only 2 photos. It is great we can change things to suit our photos. Thank you for the inspiration Pamela.

Next you will visit Sue McDonald.

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - Anything Goes

Hello and Welcome to Lovescrappin with Tina.

You may have just joined me from Julia Quinn's blog.

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global September 2024 blog hop.
This month Sharon has chosen the theme Anything Goes!
I can't wait to see what everyone has done.

I Choose to use the new Regal Flora Stamp and Die set from the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue,  When I get a new set I like to have a play and see what I can create.
I made this wreath layout, using the leaf stamp to make the wreath, using Pretty Peacock ink.

Then the dot stamp with Smokey Slate ink around the wreath.

I love this label die, it cuts two shapes in one cut. I arranged the flowers and leaves on the label and stamped the dot stamp onto the tag label. I used Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Bubble Bath & Pretty Peacock inks to make the flower clusters.

I used the Metallic Enamel Effects Basics to add colour in the centre of the flowers.

I tucked the boarder die cut behind the photo mats.

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - Stencil/ textured background

Hello and Welcome to Lovescrappin with Tina.

You may have just joined me from Cheryl Taylor   blog.

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global August 2024 blog hop. Thank you so much for joining us. This month our challenge was to create a background using Stencils / textured background.

  Sneak Peak!

I had a lot of fun creating this layout, I used a die to make my own stencil, I got my brayer out and used this to put the colour on the white background and it evolved from there.

Use your dies to make your own stencil.

I like to put ink on my acrylic block and use my blending brush to put through the stencil

Once I finished with the stencil, I used stamps to add more texture to the background.

Then I went one step further and cut another stencil and used the Metallic Enamel Effects (copper) to put around the outer edge of the background.

I cleaned the pallet knife off on the page too, swiping to give another effect.

I used the stencil again on the white before I cut my circle out.

I loved how it turned out and hope you have gotten some inspiration and will give it a go.

I hope you enjoyed this layout. Next up in the blog hop is Caz Hurst.
